Arsalan Mahmood opened the first location of what would become United West in Calgary, AB, in the summer of 2016, having moved from Ontario by way of Regina, Saskatchewan

Two of Arsalan’s promoted managers, Peiyao and Abdullahi, launched our second location in Edmonton, AB.

As the Alberta market was growing rapidly, it was time to expand west, launching off a location in Vancouver, BC.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, despite multiple lockdowns, United West saw its highest revenue year to date. We also expanded further east, opening a location in Winnipeg, MB.

After seeing the growth in both management and revenues, Arsalan and a team of managers and leaders began our expansion to Ontario. A taskforce from each of the western provinces joined forces to launch locations in Ottawa and North York.

United West launched its third Ontario location In Mississauga, with Arsalan as the Quarterback. We officially branded three of our locations, Mississauga, Edmonton and Calgary with the United West branding.

As an organization, our goal is to continue expanding. By the end of 2023, our goal is to be operational in five separate locations in the GTA alone, as well as our first expansion into the province of Quebec. What was originally a concept had now become a reality.
